Breakfast offers a market-style buffet with multiple stations offering a wide variety of options. A la carte menu is also available, along with a customizable smoothie menu and an extensive Costa Rica coffee program. Lunch offers an a la carte selection of comfort food and light, healthy cuisine. Dinner offers a selection of grilled meats and fresh fish. The Rio Bhongo terrace provides a beautiful setting underneath a 40-year-old Higueron tree, beautifully lit and magical at night. Reservations are accepted and this restaurant is ideal for large parties or multiple families who wish to dine together.
For many years, Luisca excelled in San José’s local cafés, such as Crecos and Kaldi, where he received professional certifications confirming his skills as a coffee specialist, while pursuing his university studies at the same time.
Luisca has a vast knowledge of the various ways in which you can extract coffee to enjoy it, both hot and cold.
He is also an expert on the equipment used to prepare the many coffee varieties and presentations, which includes the combination of cloth filter and Aeropress, the Chemex (a German method for coffee extraction with filter paper), as well as the French press.
