Within Ostra discover Perla, our sushi bar, which highlights the freshest local catch.






Ostra
Following a transformative redesign, Ostra presents a contemporary dining experience rooted in the bold flavors of Southeast Asia, seamlessly blended with local ingredients. The open-air restaurant features a cocktail lounge and a terrace overlooking Culebra Bay.
Discover Perla, our sushi bar, showcasing the freshest local catch, available Tuesday through Sunday based on product availability.

Chao Pescao
Chao Pescao offers open terraces, tall wooden ceilings and a warm and lively atmosphere. Indulge in a tapas menu that will embark you into a journey through Latin America and the Caribbean.
If you are looking for a bar for a pre or post dinner drink, Chao is your place. In addition to a creative mixology menu, the beverage list features extensive Central American liquors and Costa Rican craft beers.







Rio Bhongo
Our sunrise-to-sundown gathering place is the central hub of the resort. Perched above our main pool area, offering stunning views of Culebra Bay, Rio Bhongo is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Our expert barista with an extensive coffee program will wake you up in the morning, continental and local favorites will comfort you for lunch and dinner.
Meso
Unwind in our new beachfront oasis and prepare to delight in an innovative blend of vibrant Mediterranean flavors with a touch of Mesoamerican influence, complemented by refreshing tropical renditions of classic Mediterranean cocktails.





La Piazza
Visit our fun and casual “pop up” Italian restaurant located at El Patio, just steps from the lobby. Whether you are craving a wood-fired pizza, a bowl of pasta or just want to enjoy an aperitivo before dinner, La Piazza offers something for everyone. This restaurant is ideal for large families seeking a relaxed dining experience.

Coffee & Vinyls
Coffee & Vinyls serves good vibes. Celebrate Costa Rica’s coffee culture paired with a unique musical experience, inviting guests to select and play a vinyl of their choice. Offering a diverse music selection, specialty coffee, caffeinated cocktails, organic wine and Italian deli bites. Coffee & Vinyls also has a retail section for on the go essentials.

Meet Dhani D.
Born in India and raised in Chile, Chef Inderpal Dhani D. brings a global perspective to the kitchen, shaped by his experiences across Asia, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and South America. Having led kitchens at Moskito Island and Necker Island, Sir Richard Branson’s private retreats, as well as luxury brands like Mandarin Oriental and Grand Hyatt, he is known for his ability to blend tradition with innovation. Now at Ostra, he reimagines Southeast Asian cuisine, honoring its rich flavors while integrating the finest Costa Rican ingredients.
With a deep respect for technique and authenticity, his vision elevates Ostra into a destination where bold flavors, thoughtful craftsmanship, and immersive dining come together.

At Andaz, he oversees all culinary operations across four distinctive restaurants and seasonal pop-ups, bringing a renewed focus on mindful dining and soulful storytelling through food.

NOMADS
Always in nature, always movement
Active programming for adventurous teens and adults, these experiences take advantage of our 1,400-acre natural playground. Nomads’ Base Camp is located at ONDA spa and includes multiple “Nature Domes” for movement and relaxations immersed in the tropical forest. Additional experiences are offered at the Outpost, Casa de Playa, the golf and tennis center and on Costa Rica’s famous waves with SurfX.
